Just wanted to share my great happiness for my older daughter Marci who got engaged on September 18,2010, one day after her 37th birthday. Marci name means bravery and let me tell you, since she was small she exhibited great courage in life. Marci has not had it easy. She was raised by a single mom who needed to really learn parenting as she was raising her. She didn't live with her dad and oftentimes didn't see him much. Once when I tried to apologize for my failings as a mother she said, "Mom, I just don't see it that way." Marci has had many obstacles to overcome and she did each one with courage and always a smile on her face! This is one of the times that I am humbled by what a gift a child is to a parent. When I was raising her, I didn't cherish the gifts along the way. Today I don't want to miss any of them. Congratulations Marci and Mike, love really does conquer all!
